The original song is a relaxed Tarantella (wonderfully orchestrated, IMHO, for being a popular song) talking about coffee and corruption in Naples ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqVnV5f_ik4 ). Monarcheon Posted December 30, 2016 Share Posted December 30, 2016 Whoa. Some of these jumps are incredibly treacherous. m. 19 to m. 20 looks borderline impossible with that little preparation time. Same with some of the dynamic jumps, but that's admittedly a lot easier. Interplay between triple and duple is, while not simple, very nice and subtle, which is a great change of pace, from say, me, who loves bringing that kind of stuff out maybe too much. I listened to the original before hearing yours, and I must say it was very creative of you to hear such fantastically wild and quirky potential in a relatively peaceful bit of pop music.
