izzychns
I wrote this massive piano sonata in about a week. I've been playing piano for 7 years and just recently am I taking formal composition lessons. I started to compose more prolifically last year though. I'd like to hear people's thoughts on this though. Thanks in advance :) Edited January 30, 2017 by izzychns
Maarten Bauer
Hi Isaiah, Could you please add the score to this post, so that it is easier to give useful feedback? Kind regards, Maarten
Opaqueambiguity
You really gave like no information about this piece and it's structure. Is it a traditional sonata, or in sonata form, or a modern usage such as a solo virtuosic piece? Is it in multiple movements? Do the individual movements have titles/tempo markings/themes/whatever? A short cursory listen it sounds trite and poorly written pastiche, almost uniformly sanitized tonality. Without knowing more about what is going on, though, makes it not worth a deeper glance.
