Monarcheon Posted April 12, 2017 Share Posted April 12, 2017 The second movement is mostly fine. The first I just think is awkward, personally. The contrary motion plays around with the tonal center in a way that doesn't seem deliberate. The Klangfarbenmelodie in the 9/8 (kind of, you should probably write out the exact divisions instead of using 9/8) is also a touch weird and at a fast enough tempo would probably be harder than just having one player do all of those artificials if there's not a jump next to it.
