My longest single-movement work so far, and it took a lot of work to keep it going and (hopefully) keep it fresh. It was a great opportunity to play around with tonality and harmony though. I kept adding in wholetone scales whenever I could because the world needs more wholetone. Monarcheon Posted June 16, 2017 Share Posted June 16, 2017 Measure 6 stood out to me as a place with a weird suspended tone attached to it. The other times it seems to be predicated a little bit better, but maybe that's just my ear. I think you mastered ensemble spacing in this piece too. Good job!
