Monarcheon Posted August 29, 2017 Share Posted August 29, 2017 Starting on a V6 chord is kind of odd, and I see what you want the stepwise motion in the bass but it really lacks establishment to my ears. The nonfunctional chords in your next part were nice when included, made me want more of them, generally speaking. The mixing also didn't really impact me or change dynamic range as much as I would have liked. Nothing hit me in the face. The changes in tone were really well done throughout the piece, with mode mixture thrown in there too; nice! Great ending too. Overall, a good experience, but maybe I'm just too picky.
