Hey guys here is piece I just wrote for Classical Guitar and Mandolin! I had a lot of fun writing it and used a bit of renaissance counterpoint in the second part! Overall I had fun playing around with texture and dissonance within the two instruments. Also it was super fun to give the mandolin player different kind of lines than he is used too!

Charming piece. Great atmospheres and fantastic choice of instrumentation.
Had you edited it before you recorded it? I think there are some rhythmic (and some pitch, I guess) inconsistencies with your score, though that could have just been the performance.
Last note... whole note staccato is a little bit strange, especially considering how it was performed.
The covered strums near the end seemed a little bit strange too; what do they represent for you?
In addition, unless you have let ring written somewhere in your score, I've been forced to become accustomed to writing actual not durations. In that way, the half notes you have that don't carry over in notation, should be technically covered or muted on rests until the next instance of playing.
You seemed to have a tendency to fixate on the tonic a lot here, and I guess that can be construed as a sort of natural process like the sun rising, but I found it to be a little too much for a piece that clearly isn't minimalistic.
It's a really nice and I can tell you put a lot of thought into it.

It's very beautiful, not only the music but the score, too. It's always nice to learn about notation of instruments I don't know well.

Pretty cats... (I have 4).

Thank you so much man!!! Let me know if you need any help with guitar music!
