Ambiental track

Recommended Posts

I just got Guitar Rig 5 and i wanted to do something with my guitar :)
So this is a short peace iv created in an ambient mood, it was almost on my first try. I combined guitar (with ambient effects) and than on that, i played bass. I put them together, add some piano and this was the product.
Waiting for comments :)

Good feel, generally. The fifth jump to 10th was a little strange at first, but established itself enough.
The uneven rhythms in the established E major section with the piano were a little distracting.
The mode mixture here makes the transition to a defined E major triad vs an E5 chord slightly awkward... if there's any better way to make that more clear, I'd look into it, but understand if that's not possible with the atmosphere.
Most of the suspended extensions were generally okay since they're whole tones apart, but the 4th in E major (just an example) could be misconstrued by an ear.
Nice.

this piece reminds me of a band called Low

the way the electronic effects on the guitar, and the bass really sound quite like them, you should give them a listen ;)

it also reminds me of brian eno's soundscapes, though it doesn't have the same style as him.

very good overall, love the harmony
