Rendezvous With Destiny

This is great, I like the build up to the first section and the second section definitely nails the feel of a WWII movie soundtrack. The only feedback I could think to offer here would be that the transition between the two sections could use a little polish, but even that's nit picking to be honest. Over all I like it a lot, good work!

Hey Slazeus!

Thank you for listening. I'm glad you liked it. I agree that the transition between the two sections could use some more polishing. The silence is too long and I could have introduced the drums (snares only for example) after a small silence instead of just a plain silence now that I think about it.
Thank's for your feedback

Hey man, very lovely. Interesting Horn leading, you definitely have some golden moments in there.

Criticism/Thoughts:

* Maybe too much melody with the lead Horn. Some silence here and there would give more power to the remaining Horn keys. As a listener I don't want to think too much and
I have to sorta consciously keep track of the progression in order to follow. In my opinion making it a bit easier will negate that effect. (This is however my personal take on it, I can imagine that other people don't have this).

* The transition mid-way could use some release/reverb. It's a bit dry for a full ensemble.

* 0:36 - Small dissonance

* 0:52 - Small dissonance

Overall very nice, good job.

Great work! Very emotional and triumphant. Reminds me of the valkyria chronicles theme.

Hey Sepharite!

Thank's for you nice words and your feedback. I'll go listen to the valkyria chronicles theme now ;)

Hey there benyamid!

I agree about the transition. It could have been smoother.

About the dissonance they are actually there on purpose. I wanted some excentricity in that tuba melodic line. I like to do that sometimes to keep things fresh and I know everyone won't like it but that's a risk I'm willing to take.

Thank you for your feedback :)

Ah you did 'm on purpose. I was already wondering how they came to be as those are the only moments that are 'inharmonic' so to say. It would strike me as odd that such a well crafted musical composition would have two unnoticed mistakes in 'm. I see where you're coming from to create something interesting within the layers. They didn't sit well with me as I listened because the whole piece was harmonically 'correct' and they just seemed like small mistakes. Maybe if you emphasized the moment and the resolution of it, it wouldn't have struck me as odd. As said before, overall very nicely crafted. Lot of talent.

I totally understand your feeling on that. I think I made the tuba too proeminent at that moment of the piece. Because if you listen to the part at 2:33 it is doing the same inharmonic notes in comparison with all the other instruments and it doesn't sound as inharmonic as the first times it does it.
Another guess: I might be to immature in my craft to fully assume such a moment to emphasize it. (And think that is the right guess)

Again thank's a lot for your nice feedback.
