Can you please upload a music sheet too?

It would be easier for everyone to give you a full feedback and follow the development of the piece with a note pdf.

May I ask for how long have you been composing?

The usement of instruments isn't very good, it's too repetitive and you should probably buy a new samples library.

I'm sure that this one isn't your first piece, but I think you still have to learn how to develop things and use the instruments properly before you're writing a sonata.

It's just my opinion of course, I don't know much myself. I wanted to write a sonata once but it didn't go very well so I have the introduction and thats it XD

My problem at my first year was that I had all these instruments and options so I just used a bit of that and a bit of the other and nothing was really well organized.

Then, I asked my teachers if there's anything I can do about it and they said I should start small, with a Piano solo, or Violin+Cello, just to see what I can do without using too many instruments. Also, you can try giving yourself four or five notes and have the whole piece written in these particular notes.

I'm not a great composer myself, but I believe that constructive criticism is the best way to help someone become better.

Guess you can't help someone become better when you just tell them that their piece is ok/good/idk and saying nothing more.

I hope that was helpful and that I wasn't too hard on you,

A very modern take on a sonata exposition. The brass chord hurt my ears ;-) Seriously, it would be interesting to know which style you are aiming for to give you useful feedback. Also, for writing sonata form, it is better not to try to write a textbook-like sonata with all the bells and whistles mentioned there, but start very simple: A main theme, probably with some extensions tacked on, then a cadence in the home key (tonic). A short piece of music, probably related to material from the main theme, modulating to the dominant. Some material, either new or related to the main theme, in the dominant leading to a cadence in the dominant key. Voi lá, your first exposition is finished. Extra points for surrounding it with repeat signs, like the classical composers did, because it would mean your music is interesting enough to be heard twice ;-)

Thanks Rabbival and Willibald for the feedback. I posted this here was during my silly "inspiration moment", so I was just really "blind" by it. After a while i just realized this piece lacks in many areas, especially the orchestration and harmony. Thanks again for the feedback.

(By the way, those weren't bell rings, it was a celesta.)
