I had an exhausting day and said to myself I'll go give a feedback to the first piece I see.

So- It's not like I'm angry or anything, I'm just very tired. Therefore, I'm going to write my notes in points with no further explanation.

*Flute sounds dull when it plays a note bellow the C that is one octave above middle C.

*Wind players need a place to breath, cause you don't want them to choke playing your piece.

*Slurs. Put them according to the way it should be sang out loud. Separate your notes like words and sentences.

*When you'll write the dynamics for the piece- remember that higher notes on the bassoon are louder and more difficult to play.

Not everything higher than the clef's F is high. The Rite of Spring's opening is high.

Overall, for someone by the age of 16 you did pretty well.

Actually, I really like this piece.
The harmonies and melodies are very insteresting. The music reminds me of some wind music composed by Stravinsky.

However, I honestly doubt if you achieved the harmonies on purpose.
Are you already familiar with harmonic analysis?

More articulation would really improve the piece, but I think you did a nice job for now.

No, I'm not familiar with Harmonic analysis.

And you would be correct if you doubt my ability to achieve these harmonies.

I stupidly did not write articulation or dynamics and I feel completely stupid.

I would like to thank you for your feedback as it is helping me to get better and improve.

I'm fairly self-conscious and it is hard for me to put music I write up on this forum due to me fearing criticism but in receiving it i feel like i have room to improve and a reason to keep composing.

So, Thank you

Will take into account your advice and upload a revised version with dynamics and breathing spaces etcetera.

Never feel stupid about your music.

It is a learning process and please keep sharing pieces!

When you were stupid, you would not learn from the mistakes you make, but you do. Write and write, because music is beautiful.
