This is very good.. Very nice transitioning from segments.  I assume you're doing this in a  DAW with MIDI.. Personally I like the drones. In the beginning.  you have a strong sequencer, the drones work well with it, and (might interfere with sequencer line)..  Later in the piece you are playing a bass part.

The only issue for me  (may be irrelevant to you) is the reverb/ambience..  With electronic music, I feel you do not have to follow the normal reverb conventions..  I might like to hear, the sequencer line, with subtle bouncing delays.

I find I get the notes right, and when piece is more finished I go in and fine tune the sound of the synth patches..  Sometimes you have to synth instruments, kind of working in the same 'sonic neighborhood'.  Great thing with MIDI is you can modify patches, shorten ADSR's, choose a different patch which let's the other parts shine out more.   I view electronic pieces, essentially as a walk thru a garden. And there is a spot light, which highlights that  part as you walk past, it may then retracted in to background a bit (play fewer notes, volume softer etc.

What you are doing sonically, harmonically, motif, harmony wise, is really EXCELLENT..  Great work
