Symphonic study n°3 in A minor

Recommended Posts

Hi all 🙂

Here's my last symphonic study in A minor.

The wisest among you will still find some dissonances inside, but I confess I have spent for myself enough time on it.

Hope you'll like some moments… 🙂

Regards

I think you have established a nice melody, and I like the concept of symphonic studies. What might be an interesting exercise is, rather than writing in repeat bars, write out the supposed repeated section and see what you can do to vary it. Given the length of the piece, it wouldn't have to be much, but it can help you out of your comfort zone a little bit, if that is something on which you feel you can improve. Nice work!

Ca va!  J'aime ecouter à votre composition.  Il faut ajouter plus de contrepoint à votre mélodie.  C'est un bon début; cependant, ne restez pas avec des textures homophoniques. Ecrirez plus!!

Hello! I enjoyed listening to your composition.  You need to add more counterpoint to your melodies.  It's a good start; however, don't stick with homophonic textures. WRITE MORE!

Hello Jared and thanks for reviewing again 🙂

About repeat bars here, I really meant to repeat the melody, with two separate endings. To include more variations? why not. True that to me writing this piece was already quite a work...

But one can always improve 🙂

French version : so lovely 😄

Merci !

I learned with your comment what "homophony " means, and listening again I cannot but agree with you regarding the construction of this piece, so I get your point 🙂

Will try to have an eye on this in the future...

Merci! Je essaient de parler français depuis un moment. Je n'ai jamais le parler ici cependant. Aussi. Postez plus de votre compositions si vous plait!

Thank you! I have been trying to speak French for a while.  I never get to speak it though.  Also, post some more of your work!

Fondamentalment, homophonie est les memes chose à les cantiques.

basically, Homophony is the same thing...or same principals that make hymns. I am glad I can teach something! :)
