Gustav Johnson Posted December 10, 2019 Share Posted December 10, 2019 Not sure how well the bends/etc. will work with euphonium, due to the valves. Buuut I spend all day around Jr. High and High School musicians, so I'm sure my perspective is skewed lol. Also the key of A Major is less forgiving to brass instruments than the key of B-Flat (just a half step away!), or even A-Flat. They should be able to manage without issues, but from an orchestration perspective you might consider writing in a key that compliments that instrument's overtone series a little better 🙂 Good melodies and accompaniment, overall a very solid piece!
