How does this sound for an opening with strings?

Recommended Posts

It is uploading duplicate files. I can not delete one without deleting the other in the playlist.

I made it less expectant. I am trying to keep the flow consistent.

Update. As of now, meant to be played at half volume.

I used boring C -mostly. My music theory is not where it should be.

I had to do parts of that over again too. Since the previous sounded like a melodic mess. A lot needs to be redone.

It's basically a lovely sound. I reckon the volume needs upping (or maintaining) at around 0.16" then differentiate the string sounds a bit with dynamics particularly toward the end where it seems to be developing into something. I tend to agree with Tonskald, there's a Sibelian feel about it, 4th or 6th Symphonies. It's going great so far. Don't be afraid to change key somewhere along the line.

I was thinking of taking it up a scale or insert a previous melody. Please turn up volume to max but it gets a little loud at about :55 seconds.

I'm still making minor revisions to this. I am not sure if I should stop on this.

I like the mood you manage to create here.  I noticed that the melodic line in your very last revision is lost some of the time.  It's too bad because I really enjoyed it in the previous versions of this piece.  Are you sure you're not over-revising and changing things that don't need to be changed?

I do enter analysis paralysis a lot. Sometimes I will focus on 1 part for hours and lose focus.
