Recommended Posts

I spent most sunday working on it and I think it to be decent enough for me to post it. Anyway, hope you enjoy it, here it is:

Hey!

First thing to ask: were you going for a strict baroque fugue? If so, there's not much I can help you with.

I'm not that much of a fan of dense and fast paced fugues.

Besides that, I like it! Great job.

Cheers!

Overall, not bad. The counterpoint works well among all the parts. I would have loved to have a bit of a breath between the density of it all. Perhaps you can thin up some of the contrapuntal textures with a little variety (the them would work well with stretto, imitative counterpoint, and other contrapuntal techniques). Would be a good piece to break down into the parts to showcase fugal form for those who don't have much familiarity with it.

Looking forward to hearing more!
