That's faster (210bpm), and the character is more scherzo-like. But you are right, some Beethoven's Scherzi for exemple have much faster tempo, and also there are minuets faster than other...not sure where to set the tempo line beetwen minuet and scherzo😅 Maybe someone in the forum can help us. I wasn't sure neither of it should be written as 3/4 or 3/8...I guess both are right, and just depends on the tempo you play it. I feel this piece would work really well in a larger scale work such as a sonata perhaps. though of course that is up to you. I thoroughly enjoyed the relatively simple motifs being used and it has a strong sense of fluency throughout the piece. really impressive well done.
