A very charming piece. I love how to B section has a darker feeling but not to dark that it would unbalance the piece. The appogiaturas I think work very well with the context of the  piece because they give a more dance-like mood (or at least for me) .Overall I think it has a great proportion. :)

Very nice, elegant and simple as the illustrious commenter above describes it.  Though I always think of a scherzo as a faster tempo work, this sounds more like a minuet.

I first thought it should be a minuet, but tempo da minuet I think is somewhere around 120bpm. That's faster (210bpm), and the character is more scherzo-like. But you are right, some Beethoven's Scherzi for exemple have much faster tempo, and also there are minuets faster than other...not sure where to set the tempo line beetwen minuet and scherzo😅

Maybe someone in the forum can help us.

I wasn't sure neither of it should be written as 3/4 or 3/8...I guess both are right, and just depends on the tempo you play it.

This piece is fantastic.A very pleasant piece. I feel this piece would work really well in a larger scale work such as a sonata perhaps. though of course that is up to you. I thoroughly enjoyed the relatively simple motifs being used and it has a strong sense of fluency throughout the piece. really impressive well done.

Just an extra little note perhaps the change the metronome mark from quarter note 210 to half note 105? it'll make it more accessible to performers. 🙂

I think you mean de dotted half note at 70bpm. You are right, it's more natural to follow the tempo to the dotted half note. That's updated. Thanks for the note! 😉
