I actually thought the audio quality was amazing! I didn't find any of the parts unbalanced, and to me it felt almost real! That's a real achievement in computer orchestral software!

I kind of agree with @PaperComposer, I think I would have called the piece "Fantasy" as well. To me, the name Sinfonietta suggests that the piece will use a full orchestra, but will usually be lighter in style and of a shorter length, and would be more like a formal suite based on symphonic form (i.e. sonata, rondo), but smaller than a standard symphony. On the other hand, I don't "Sinfonietta" is a bad name for the piece either, because really you can give it any name you want, whatever feels appropriate to you.

Agreed I def. don't hear sinfonietta. Besides fantasy, I think "Symphonic poem" or "symphonic suite" is more fitting.  My $0.02.

D Clarinet is very rare so stick with E Flat.

Your original b flat post is possible but clearly challenging.... there are some trick fingerings that can be used that will enable the player to get around it. We use such 'dark knowledge' (!) in such passages.

Happy to shed more light for any players that wish to know - www.paulsaundersclarinet.co.uk

Thanks for pointing this out. I did a little research after several had pointed out the challenges with the clarinet parts and came across this fact, so I have actually already changed the D clarinet to Eb clarinet in my copy of the score. I also respelled the accidentals to avoid the awkward double sharps.

Good to know. I'm ok with challenging as long as it's possible.

Thanks for your input!

For what it's worth, I think "Sinfonietta" is a perfectly fine title for this piece. Before listening, the first thing I thought of was the Janacek Sinfonietta, which is anything but light in nature.

Thanks! I was going for something that is like a "small symphony", so that's why I chose it.
