I'm curious about what are the essential of a march in this context (early classicism?).

Im still learning myself to be honest. I found two Marches in Mozart's notenbuch which I'll look at in detail to get a better feel for the early classical marches.  I think duple metre, binary form, 110 - 120 bpm, a forward momentum throughout and cheerful tone.

I don't know any marchs by Mozart except Rondo alla turca and the "intro" of The Abduction from the Serraillo, which ir orchestral and also "turco". But this style is different.

I guess the music tries to reflect the solemn rhythm in general.

Your piece has some of those elements (with the staccato notes) but sounds joyful, too.
