PeterthePapercomPoser
I was wondering what it was about this piece that gave it that weird vibe besides the harmony. Then I realized it's in 5/4! I also like the more intense section in the middle that seems to change to 5/8. It's a very melancholy/angsty and dark atmosphere you create here. I also like your use of the b2nd degree in the bass - I'm not sure if it's a strict neapolitan chord or not but it's nice. Thanks for sharing this quite enjoyable mood you've created! Rabbival507
@iliasG The flower of the dead... in five... interesting, I think you've created a fitting atmosphere- gentle, yet emotional and odd in a way. I usually try to see if theres anything I can add to make the composer reconsider some aspects... Hm I think, since it is a flower of the dead you describe... how about a less moving part? Maybe some sort of tremolo giant chords modulation? Still with diminishes, minors etc. Maybe add a cello? or a bass clarinet? to vary the sound? mazeth
I've been listening to it, while looking at the snow falling outside, I thought the atmosphere fitted really well with your composition. What I particularly liked: the transition at 1'00 What I was less fond of: some dissonant parts (e.g.: 3'24-3'30) Thanks for sharing, very pleasant!
