Armenian Hymn of the Glorious Resurrection of Christ

This is great! I really like you blended the different voices and passed the melody around the orchestra. One example I really liked is the piccolo and oboe on the upbeats echoing the melody in the flute and clarinet on pg. 11-12.

One question I have is why you decided to only have single woodwind players? I think in some sections where the strings have the melody the woodwinds would get lost underneath the texture, whereas if there were two players it would be easier to balance.

The other thing I'll add, and maybe this is just personal taste, but I thought the brass was underutilized from a melodic standpoint. Since you do so well blending the other voices, maybe experiment with giving the melody to a solo horn, trumpet, or trombone from time to time?

Otherwise, great piece of music, I enjoyed listening!

I don’t like the flute and the oboe very much. So, I change one each two by a piccolo and an English horn.

I think the balance depends on several things....
