Hello everyone,

Here is a waltz I composed today. I drew inspiration from Schubert's numerous waltzes, and the trio is reminiscent of Schumann (there's always some degree of Schumann in my music). Hence the title.

It's not a particularly ambitious piece, my recording is quite bad (I almost sight-read it) and my piano's out of tune, but I like it, and of course, any kind of feedback would be much appreciated.

Hope you enjoy!

Thanks! I was thinking of writing more waltzes in the same feeling and then performing them as a whole. I've already written a few others, I'll post it all when I've got a full cycle and I've worked on them a bit.

I love the melody and the simple yet effective harmony. It sounds to me like a German waltz, as you intended. You apologise for the out of tune piano, but it adds some variety and 'flavour'. If it was in-tune, it would sound almost robotic.

Thank you for your wonderful composition.
