Maybe we can have a slightly more ambitious competition for May and start a couple of weeks early. --say a piano concerto movement.

I think that a concerto competition would be just as hard as the symphonic competition and should not be in the monthly competition category.

How about a keyboard sonata competition ;) Maybe we can create a schedule of competitions for every month of the year and never have to poll or discuss for days on end what to have next. Also, since I missed this competition, I can participate in the next keyboard sonata competition (If we decide to have this schedule made up, then in March).. we may even want to have six competitions a year and then repeat the same for the second half?

What are your thoughts?

We should make a schedule for what type of competition we have for each month. That's all I said.

No arguments and people know which months they would like to play, (i.e. plan for those months, etc.).

I see a lot of string and piano writing here...let's try a brass quintet! (2 trumpets, horn, trombone and tuba)! I might even be able to get a piece or two played!

The winner, I assume. :)

Brass quintet sounds good. Out of the ordinary, at least in comparison to the rest of the competitions we've run, and fairly small scale, so doable inside a month. Any further affirmations/objections?
