  1. I like it. I think it has a lot of potential. The main thing I would say is flesh it out some by developing those solo melodies you insert at various times. Those are cool and could serve as more than just transitions if you gave them a little more air time (and possibly mixed some of the main theme in with them). I think it'll be perfect at maybe about 6-8 minutes so that you have more time to develop some of your ideas. I also thought the Medieval part was really cool. Keep up the good work!
  2. Thanks everyone for the comments! It's true Violin IV has some unplayable chords. I should just split it into multiple parts because the way our fiddle class did it is we split the Violin IV part across 2 fiddles. I do appreciate the comments, and I'll be posting a classical-style piece in Sonata form sometime in the next two months as I finish it.
  3. Wonderful piece! You have a great ear for orchestration; I absolutely loved it!!! 10/10.
  4. That is brilliant! My only comment is put a crescendo from measure 40 through the 1st ending for more contrast when you decrescendo in the 2nd ending. Also, you might want to start mf instead of f, depending on how loud you want it to get. But, the crescendo would definitely add to your effect of rising tension during that segment. 10/10!
  5. The score is now fully uploaded.
  6. Yes, I guess I wasn't that specific about it; it is an arrangement, not an original composition, but I'm glad you like it. I will play around with more variations in a couple weeks when I have some time. I made it for my beginning fiddle class, so it couldn't be that complicated for our performance. That's strange about the score. I'll re-upload it and see if that helps. Thanks for the feedback!
  7. This is an arrangement of Old Joe Clark - a fiddle tune that appeared in the early 1800s in America - for 5 fiddles. I wasn't sure what genre to classify it as, but its form is theme and variations. It was made using MuseScore V0.96. The midi isn't that great, but I hope you enjoy it!
