  1. This crab tastes very good. 😉 Really pleasant to listen to, especially as it is short enough that e.g. the steady staccato still doesn't exhaust the listener. Just one comment: It is your composition, so you can certainly do as you see fit, but many textbooks advise against realising a basso continuo as a piano reduction of the score. It is more about harmony than melody. This should help to avoid the wide intervals you mentioned.
  2. @PeterthePapercomPoser Thanks - yeah, I liked the melody, which , despite that the competition stated must be used in a dance form, originates from a 16th century plainchant. I actually didn't read all of the rules before I wrote the piece so I kind of just went with the keyboard figurations over a plainchant because that's what it felt like @Henry Ng Tsz Kiu and @Thatguy v2.0 thanks for listening/ watching.
