  1. Very short piece, sounds more like an idea. charmy.
  2. I like it, that's all there is to it. I bring it back later for the recap, it is an important part of the second theme. Thanks for listening to it, I'll upload the next two movements as soon as I finish them(MK). hAVE A GOOD DAY
  3. I liked it a lot. I love short pieces, and I love the theme that you have in this one. You could use it as a theme for a major work. The cadenza at the end is great too, and sounds very sick and hard to play. You play clarinet so you know the positions and all that stuff better than I do. I enjoyed listening to it, and if you don;t recycle that theme/melody I will steal it hahaha. Good job
  4. if you want you can send me the midi file and I could import it to sibelius. It's is really hard to hear, the volume is very low. I would like to listen to it.
  5. one more thing, I think you could have a better ending. You could bring your first theme back and end it with that. Repetition ensures closure. It is such a good theme that it will tie it up together really good I believe.
  6. Inspired on Debussy's "The girl with the flaxen hair". I like how they answer each other. Is it in sonata form? I can recognize the variations on the first theme, but it was a little hard for me to spot the second theme. Sounds great anyways. good job :)

  9. Hi Darren, Thank you for replying, I was a little dissapointed that nobody gave me any kind of feedback or opinion, but is always good to see that there are people that still have time to listen and comment on other "composer" projects. The sonata is called Resigniert(resign), hahaha It was funny the you pictured an ogre when you listened to it, never thought of it in that way. I'm working on the second movement, and I'm following Beethoven's 7th symphony 2nd movement for mine. Anyways, thanks a lot for replying, i'll be sure to check your compositions too later on today :)
  10. First movement of my first Sonata for Cello and Piano Hi Guys, My name is Alan, I study performance and classical composition at Berklee, this is my first Sonata and actually the first work of mine that I like. I would like to hear some comments about this movement, I'm currently working on the second one right now and I am sure that it won't stay the way it is right now, but very close. Thank you so much for taking some of your time to comment on this, I'll take a look at your works too if you dont mind. Have a good week everyone. Sonata For Cello and Piano, Resigniert
