    Hi, I'm Olof Darin : ).
    I started playing the piano when I was six but with limited enthusiasm. I really got interested in eight grade when we had music history in school. It was really the music of Mozart that inspired me back then. Then Chopin caught my attention. Stravinsky, Bach and Prokofiev was the shit in high school. Now Schubert, Beethoven and Bach are my favorites. Back in high-school I spent quite a lot of time tinkering with music but now (while at university) I haven't really found the energy. Hopefully I will find more time and inspiration for music stuff in the future.

    My favourite composers for keyboard are Schubert, Bach, Beethoven and Prokofiev so I'd assume that my music (as I only compose for keyboard) is a kind of fusion of the styles of those composers..

    Thank you for the kind words! Interesting to hear what people think about the somewhat dissonant stuff. I'm quite used to it and as it's my own piece there's always a chance that I perceive it as more coherent and conventional than how others might perceive it. Ultimately I prefer slow moving, easy on the mind kind of music. As for a score... maybe in the future... but I have to admit that I find that part of composing to be very boring and painful

    Hello, Here's the first movement of my piano sonata. Hope you like it. The recording is kind of bad and my playing as well at times but oh well. You should preferably listen to it with headphones on! 🙂 Tell me what you think!
