Symphonic orchestra in action
yes, well its not even an end, its just the place where the music happens to stop. Anyway I think you raise a valid point. I just created the maintheme and then variated around it. I will study more deeply how a great build works. Thanks for the input

Symphonic orchestra in action
Hey guys, I would like your input on this piece. I cant really do anything else than play the piano and I hate myself for not being able to make any decent percussion. How can I improve this? thanks in advance. Box.net - Free Online File Storage, Internet File Sharing, Online Storage, Access Documents & Files Anywhere, Backup Data, Send Files

Dragon!
seriously guys, pirates of the caribbean, Batman!? It has no resemblence what so ever to any of those two movies. That true love song on utube, on the other hand are actually almost identical melody but who cares, you makes this melody great nikolas. Good work!

Film score-style piece inspired by Smoke on the Water
this is indeed good stuff! Your use of different instruments and most of all sounds makes this a joy to listen to. Im looking forward to hear you do your "own" melody in the future.

The Greatest Mystery...
It feels like the brass and the strings in the beginning glue up, interfering with one another. If you uses harmonies like that, perhaps it could be wiser to not use to many instruments in the same range, but thats perhaps exactly the sound you where looking for?

Our Queen is dead
Thanks again for all nice remarks. I have decided to leave reason behind and begin my summervacation by getting east and west symphonic orchestra (silver edition, gold is too expensive atm) This may very well be a nice step since I get control over a complete range of samples, recorded at the same place (often a problem for me). Have anyone used it? Is it worth saving up for gold? And for the questions: Pianobeast: Im not associated with any gamegroup, Its a project that will include about 12 different songs in the same fashion as above. I have done like 5 so far, but since Im thinking of ending my reasonexperience, perhaps I will rerecord them. Genetica: I wish I could add percussion, unfortunate for me, the samples I got is to soft and puny for my compilation, and also.. I happens to be the worlds worst drummer. I really dont get it

Our Queen is dead
Oh, I have never heard that composer, will try to get hold of his work, my inspiration comes from heroes of might and magic, warcraft and similar games. That sequence is quite done, I could expand it by variation and will do so asap. The choir is taken from the reason refill "glorious choirs" and added much needed dept to the piece. Still Im missing much needed drums and percussion.. havent found any good at all, to soft and pancy for my taste. I want power! and thanks everyone for listening and commenting btw...

Our Queen is dead
This is the first piece from my fantasy/roleplaying theme Im currently creating, and Im quite happy how it turned out. My current problem is the lack of good orchestral samples found for Reason 3.0, and if any of you got some tips I would be more than happy. Well, enjoy. http://moordred.diinoweb.com/files/Ourqueenisdead.mp3
