I really like this! Nice and smooth. I think you should definitely write a four-mallet part for the marimbas though to add some more flair. I also thought the ending was too abrupt and very unexpected in a bad way. Again, great job!

Yeah, Joe Hisaishi is definitely my favorite composer. I love a lot of film composers but he is my favorite by far.

I have a question, why is this piece in the incidental music section and not the chamber works?

I like the 110 the best, but my second favorite would be the slow one. Maybe something between the two?

Thanks so much! Actually the "reflection" in the title referred to someone reflecting on their past and not really like a mirror. I thought that was an interesting idea though, to incorporate mirroring the melody, so I'm working on it.

It's just a small local recital and I don't know what it's called. I guess that's why no one I've talked to knows any of these! Thanks for your help though.
