Tell composers such as Ligeti, Penderecki, and Lutaslowski that notation is not important :( Precise notation is extremely important, especially if you are going to want your music published, which even most pop musicians today want it published and sold as sheet music, just another way to make some money. I had a lengthy conversation with my composition professor just the other day about this very subject.
  2. Hi, i'm new to these forums, i'm currently getting a degree in composition at a university. I enjoyed listening to this very much. I really like your attention to detail, you definitley knew exactly what "tone language" you wanted and where. The string section may be somewhat deciptive with this midi sequencing because it would sound very different on real instruments (you may already know this). The midi sound like a much bigger section than just one on each part concerning the strings, but it sounded great none-the-less! Two Thumbs Up!
