I agree that it lacks a certain authenticity, but you get that already. For me, I still think it's a really nice piece, definitely movie underscoring potential. It really depends if those who have "commissioned" it of you want something authentic or something that will be easy to listen to and give the impression of being Egyptian. I don't think you need more brass, I don't think there's really anything wrong with the ending, I think the only problem is that it's a midi playback and live musicians will make that ending less jarring. However, live musicians may not be able to play some of it, specifically sme of those pizzicato runs. I do have to admit, the pizzicato pedal tone also got a little boring for me after a while. It sounded like you were experimenting rather than writing. There were a lot of good themes and things running through the piece, but the only consistent thing it had going for it was that constant pizzicato thing. Still, for 15, very good.
