  1. I really enjoyed it!! Especially the woodwind and brass parts they were excellent and I mean it. I thought the accelerando and crescendo at the end was not necessary. The momentum in the piece is enough to drive the music into a fabulous ending, and I'm guessing you used triple forte for the ending? I didn't really like it, the instruments lose their clarity in tone. Of course, this is a midi file but I don't recommend going so far with the dynamics. I hope that helps. Everything besides the ending was great!!
  2. Woops... sorry! Here's the sibelius file and midi file hope you guys have fun. ryan_aslevelpiece.sib ryan_aslevelpiece.mid
  3. Hi. Comments and feedback are welcomed. As you can see from my THEME AND VARIATION piece, I wanted to create a strong beginning. In Variation II, I wanted the piece to become peaceful. In Variation III I adjusted it so that it becomes very disturbed and bizarre. Afterwards, it transforms into a waltz which I tried to experiment. It finally comes to a finale. Tell me how I should improve my piece and whether I should put the melody in other instruments more instead of just the flute and piano. Thanks =]
  4. Wow, I am really impressed, especially from pages 1-6. I thought it was really good and the buildup from page 5 to page 6 was superb . My teacher has once suggested to my class that perhaps you could "vary" the piece more by changing tempo, key signature (which you have done), and time signature. From page 6 onwards I wish the mood varied a bit more because I didn't get the feeling of a build-up or whatsoever. I hoped this helped =D
