  1. Hi there!I think that it is a quite good piece of music..... Although... It has a little phrase as its own theme (sounds like Beethoven indeed),yes but it bears a GREAT resemblance to Mendelssohn's String Quartet in F minor op.80-1st movement.Esspecially your part 0.29-1.20 (an early example) is exactly a theme of Mendelssohn's work (if not identical, quite the same notes, the same idea of movement and the same use of the instruments)... Of course i may be wrong...but again... Anyway, personally i liked it very much.It is a really good effort....and inspired from a great master...if not Beethoven,at least Mendelssohn! Keep the good work!
  2. Hi to everybody!I'm quite new here and while searching the forums,I came here...And wen i listened to some of the pieces uploaded by other members, i couldn't keep myself,I wanted to upload a little piece of mine. This is the first part of a work that is not a common string quartet. It is rather a collection of small pieces for string quartet, pieces that differ in mood, speed, complexity and more.It is a work that i will never finish because I will always be able to add more parts if i have a new idea. The first part is written in the style of a "Perpetuum Mobile".The continuous lines of the instruments may be a bit of tiring (that is something i felt when i first midi-ed it).I composed that 4 years ago (I was then 14) when I had little experience and the impulse of the begginer. All comments welcomed (especially advice)!:) Quartet Pieces- 1.Perpetuum Mobile.mid
