  1. I have used Sibelius and Finale at different times, and I have found that Finale gets me better results. To me, Finale is an easier and more accurate software than Sibelius, and it is easier to change and move things around after you've written the music on the page. I have encountered only one problem, which was clefs colliding with notes when changing clefs, but that can be fixed by moving the measure.
  2. I would like to hear some more sixteenth note runs at m. 29, because I love minor keys! My only other concern is the title. I picture a more subtle piece for "French Morning". I would fix the title, but other than that it was great! I would love to orchestrate this piece for a small string/woodwind ensemble! Thank you for sharing your score with us all!
  3. I would go for tighter harmonies and expand the harmonic palette to cover a wider use of the keyboard. Adding some chromatic modulation (such as fifths) and including a minor rendition would be great! Thanks for sharing your works, and I hope this helps!
  4. I like it as an overall piece, but there is just too much pizzicato for me. In my personal preference, I would stick the pizz. to the cello, and let the violins and viola do more chordal melody stuff. Other than that, it was interesting, but on the dull side for a quartet. I would write a movement such as an Allegro Vivace or Presto to brighten things up. Thank you so much for posting it.
  5. Hello everyone! This is my first post, and its my arrangement of Bach's Double Invention No. 8, scored for Violin and Cello. Please give me some pointers! Thanks! JEPiano77 Bach Invention No. 8.MUS Bach's Invention No. 8.pdf
