Hey Younes, I feel the same way you do, but after talking to some teachers, it seems like school is the only way to get credit, or my music played by a real orchesrta in the extrodinarly elitest classical community. I would like to avoid school, but i'm willing to do whatever it takes to become a composer. I think if I got a scholership, then it would be meant to be. I would be honored if you gave me a book to use! what kind of address do you need? Thanks younesthemusician!

Thank you all! I learned orchestration by looking up the pitch ranges on wikipedia. This was kind of a practice piece, so I would try to remove any compositional preconceptions before listening. Iv'e never studied formaly, just internet surfing, this type of music is a lot different then modern songs. I just wrote what felt right, but I think if I knew more about organization side of things it would have came out differently. I think theres a point where I would rather write beyond the range of an instrument for artistic purposes. The title represents the lucid dreamlike quality that exists in the state of concusness where theta waves dwell that lead up to this composition. I wasnt trying to go for any particular style, and I haven't changed any dynamics yet, guitar pro makes every note automatically forte (guitar players do like playing loud). Do any of you know anything about getting scholerships? School, and music teachers are really expensive, but i'm sure they would help. Thanks for listening and responding!
