  1. I enjoyed the piece! I loved the different ways you changed how to play the melodic theme. It sounds like a fun piece to play. Great job and good luck.
  2. Wow! I love the final product. You had a great start in class, but I love the middle section and how you came back to wrap up the end like the beginning started. I think my favorite part was how you accented the higher notes during the minimalist part to create it's own melody and then included a counter rhythm in the bass. I think I may have to agree with Serge though. Maybe mix it up a little bit. But overall, amazing job on the piece.
  3. Thanks everyone! This was a really fun piece to write. I love just messing around and coming up with different chords that fit what the lyrics are trying to say. As for the recording, it's a little rough, I know. I gave it to a friend of mine to learn and we recorded it on my mac in a practice room the same day. Not the greatest, but it gets the job done. Maybe there will be a better recording to come. As for the piano piece, I really want to record it since the finale version won't do it justice. That's my next project, but first i have to learn it! I'd like to get some feedback on that one as well.
  4. Hello everyone. I am a sophomore in college and this is my first work writing with lyrics. I was in an intro to composition class and we had to write a piece to fit a poem. I have known this Franciscan Benediction since high school and I love the words, so I thought it would be a perfect fit. Hope you enjoy! May God Bless You
