OK, got it.

Slight problem which I have. I am using a score in 4/4 but the row I will cause notes to go over this bar lines on repeation and therefore cause lines. Not a problem except in my viola where the row causes some werid notation problems. Any ideas?

Well, you can try using a time sig designed for your particular row length.

Say your row is 1) 4th, 2) dotted 8th, 3) half 4) dotted 16th 5) doted 4th

So your time sig, to avoid drama, should be the sum of all that reduced to 8ths (or 16ths, depending on what the smallest value is,) for example, so it all fits neatly into a single measure. Just do the math depending on your row. :>

Here we go - pdf and midi.

That's pretty good, so now what we want is to make that longer.

Repeat the same exercise, but now try extending it longer than three measures.
