music for short film

Hello!

I'm a film student and I never had any music lessons, so I'm always reluctant to bring my music to the world outside...

I composed a piano theme for my new short film (my final project) and I'd like to get some constructive criticism for this piano piece...

I think my main problems are harmony and making the accompaniment more interesting

It's like I have a main feeling I want to convey, but I feel there's something missing, and I don't know what. I would, however, like to keep the music quite simple and 'minimalist'

what kind of film is it? I like your waltz - it sounds for me like music for some film about some small nice city somewhere in France and about two people :-)...

This only I can say.

Without really changing too much in your piece, you could fill it out a little bit by adding 3rds to the melody in a few places. It might also benefit from using more of the keyboard (going up or down an octave at some point)
