February 24, 200917 yr For those interested. I've decided to work on a piano and trumpet piece while releasing all info to the internet, in NSS forums. I do hope that this might be useful for my peers (other composers), students and all interested in music. Maybe even people who do not like, not for an instant contemporary music, might find this useful. Links: THE DISCUSSION THE MUSIC DEVELOPMENT Thank you. You can discuss things here, but maybe preferably in NSS forums, since I hope to keep that focused there. Whichever way is fine though. Hopefully it will be helpful to a few. :) Nikolas

First I will carefully study your threads at NSS. So, please, give me some time before responding. Nevertheless, it would be useful to proceed discussing also here, at the YC site.
February 24, 200917 yr Author Hansen, I know it will be useful, but alas, already the lengthy posts over at NSS are taking SO MUCH off my time, that I wouldn't be able to handle, even copy pasting stuff over here. I've started at NSS and have to finish there, I'm afraid. If you have a non generic e-mail (non yahoo/hotmail/gmail) you should be able to join NSS and ask anything you wish over there.
February 24, 200917 yr Nikolas, I like this, and I will follow you! Interesting idea there. Btw, I don't know if is me but are you quoting Prokofiev there or inspired by him? :P
February 25, 200917 yr Author Not in purpose, and I had a hard time thinking where I "stole" this second version of the first theme (around 0:30 or so). It's the 7th sonata, 3rd movement, I think. :S There we go! Now I'm stealing while I'm playing... I'm pretty sure there's other things in there as well. I think I hear a little Debussy (Preludes for piano, the last one, (first or second book, not entirely sure). Subconscious composing do these things! ;)
