Lucid Dream

Featured Replies

As this title suggests this piece is about a Lucid Dream, to where a man discovers he has the power to control his actions. It's starts of mellow with him controlling objects with his mind. He eventually becomes entranced by this power and takes it to the next level of greed. The Climax of the piece is when he experiments with this ability and kills another person due to his vengeance of this person in real life. The dream ends and the main theme is reintroduced as he awakens from his slumber.

This song is written for an orchestra final that we have each year in the class (sadly my last for high school). I'm in a group of violinists and cellists. We decided to use electric bass, electric guitar (my part), Organ/Piano, and violins. I'm also considering if my orchestra teacher allows me to do it. Is to add in a drum part for a drummer outside the orchestra that would be willing to play it.
