I think, it's very successfully for a first time) Write me, what you think about that.

it remind me one of the famous soundtrack music at the beginning

(somewhere out there )

I liked this a lot. There are really nice singing melodies in it and some lovely harmonies.

On the negative side, perhaps at times it sounds a bit confused - the writing for both instruments could be clearer, (but perhaps this is the sound of the recording?). Also, at times the direction of the music seemed a bit confused to me. You also appear to have written it in several sections - but perhaps there are too many of these? I thought the ending was a bit abrupt - you built it up excellently and then ended very suddenly.

However, although I can't comment very well without seeing the score, I loved (what I think was) the second section and the fourth section - they were very effective with a lot of direction and power and they sounded great.

Congratulations on your first post - it was well done.

Thak you very much for answer. I'm very glad, that this sonata liked to someone) About recording - yes, the reason of noises is a record(it was record from concert). I also think, that the end is to abrupt, but it was my thought) couse the idea of music is "fallen" (like a title of composition), couse when you are falling it means the end.

Anyway, I realy appreciate 2 U 4 all:)

And there is one more music, that I wanted to show you: a little composiotion for violin and piano - "Mood", maybe the title is not so well... It's funny music, a jazz music):

This is difficult to play, right? I've posted some things here but always try to compose parts "easy". I'm a pianist and don't mind trying harder music. Glad to see someone writing more challenging things. It sounded very well done and happy to hear an actual live performance.

Yea) It was a little difficult, but in the record - it's not me plaing on piano, it was one teacher of my musical school) And yes, you right about "easy" compose(couse the "genius" in "easy" things), but sometimes, when idea of music can not to be expressed by easy method... you must to work harder. Not allways the music is easy.

Thank you) I'm very glad, that you like it) Couse the point of my musical life - "to bring a happiness to people" :)

You said, what you are pianist? Maybe you will like this composition:

It's from my first piano cykl "Face of nature":) (there are 5 compositions more)

This piece is very atmospheric, and somehow very like some of my own pieces... I wasn't very fond of it in the beggining, but after about a minute the really good parts started and I listened delighted till the end. Actually, It's one of my favourite pieces, currently!! It sound very "soundtrack-from" and I love it. I love it so much!

Although seriously, It's like half of my stuff! sure, I don't compose such long pieces, but it's just weird hearing something that resembles mine... ;P (though don't worry, nothing specific... just the overal style! :)

Anyway - I'll gladly check the rest of your compositions!

Ooh, this is nice :-)

The beginning reminds me a bit of Howard Shore's music for the movie Mrs Doubtfire.

I'm doing this as I listen to it, so forgive the forensic analysis :-)

I love the transition around 1:37.

2:43 - I swear that's wrong... Could just be a performance mistake tho.

Very dramatic in the middle section.

4:46 - the high note violin could be held on more into the driving piano section.

The ending is very dramatic and striking. It seems like it _should_ end abruptly.

I really enjoyed this piece - seems very complex to play (though obviously manageable!) and some lovely themes in there. The transition of control from piano to violin and back again is well handled, though you could probably soften the transitions some more to make the piece more cohesive.

Nicely done - look forward to hearing more from you.

This was incredibly beautiful and I enjoyed it very much.

haha.

Wow. First I'd just like to say that the title could not have more accurate. I'm also in love with the emotion that permeates the entire piece and hearing a live performance with players that convey that emotion was a real treat. Please post the score if you can...and keep writing!

At times the piano greatly outbalances the violin, notably the start and a lot of the middle sections. This made it feel very muddled and confused. (Seems as if that teacher was bashing the living daylights out of it. =D ).

Though other than that, I like this piece a lot. It is full of a lot of emotion and is a very nice modern depiction of a Sonata. Although I don't believe you followed the "correct" form of the Sonata, change is good. Maybe call the title something else. =d

You didn't mention anyone playing on violin. Would I be correct to assume you were the violinist? If so, then you could easily make it into an Orchestra.

The song was beautiful, but the piano was always driving it forward. Letting the violin do some more complex stuff while the piano takes it easy could add more to the emotion of the piece.

I agree, but other than that it was a very beautiful piece.
