Thought I'd add a little non-classical music to the repertoire section, so here it goes!

Any thoughts on Carlos Santana? To me, his olded stuff is fantastic. I'm talking about Samba Pa Ti, Black Magic Woman, Europa - the classics. Any thoughts on the man, his music, or the his recent forray into more pop music?

For newcomers to Santana, I recommend above all else "Samba Pa Ti" - Just a beautiful and brillant work. My father introduced me to Santana when I was a kid, and its stuck with me ever since. On top of that, as a guitarist, Samba Pa Ti (and Black Magic Woman for that matter) is one of my favorite non-classical pieces to perform. Just go crazy soloing and improvising throughout the double time solo section! That is a great feeling!!!

Anyway, let me know what you guys think!
