It's a weak substitute....why not just go play a piano?

Are you interested in learning how to read chord symbols?

I'd recommend buying a self help book for the basics in triads, seventh chords, etc. that also relates them to the common chord symbols and variants.

Not sure why you'd want to just hear the chord played for you by a program, whether you are feeding it a chord symbol or notation.
