"Duende" for 2 Pianos

Featured Replies

Hello! This is my best piece, arranged for 2 pianos, because the piece was simply not playable solo. Never mind the midi, the good mp3 is in post #5.

Hope you enjoy!

well. I think its nice! I really hope you take the time to edit the score in a more "2 piano" way.. Now you had just split the parts and left both other staffs empty... Then add nice articulation and dynamics.

I liked the harmony; keep up

hi,

love the style.

i felt that it, with some adaptation could probably be a solo piano piece.

i didn't like that the pianos only ever played with one hand, unless you intended for their part to be played with two hand and if so i would mark it accordingly.

fingering markings would be very useful for a future player.

i felt the end was a bit rushed.

loved all of the harmony ideas.

yeah... great

Thanks for the input. I realized too late I submitted the wrong pdf, which isn't very "pianistic".

The correct one is in post #8.

Very cool style. Love the rapid pace of the piece, exciting. Excellent use of harmonies and rhythms.

I don't think you really need to write out fingerings and write it out a separate part for each hand. I figure if you are good enough to play this, you probably figure out this stuff on your own anyways.

Measure 53-60 reminded me of something George Gershwin from his Second Rhapsody.

I don't have any real critiques, I really liked this, thanks for posting it!

It's funny, I let this run about 3 times now while I type my comment, I usually stop them, but not this time!
