December 2, 200916 yr How does one declare that an ensemble should start playing in a regular tempo after the end of a rubato section? Thanks.
December 2, 200916 yr "alla misura" means "in strict time". You could also say "senza rubato" or "a tempo".
December 2, 200916 yr Non rubato would do the trick. Also you could use alla misura, which means play strictly in time. Edit: beaten to it.
December 2, 200916 yr Tempo Primo also works. Oh also shouldn't this thread go in advice and technique???
