I would of liked a bit of more minor stuff in there, but then again, it's for Valentines day. In that case it works. It's sweet, reminds me of those Heart shapped lolipops. And cotton candy, and those valentines teddy bears. Good job, good job.

I very much like the mixture of quartal and tertiary harmony.

I'm not so sure about the choice of register. By this I mean that other than that one rising phrase in the middle, the right hand pretty much always plays in the same 2 octave area, and the left hand part is almost always within the same octave. You should try to break out a bit more of this register fixation. Some booming bass octaves would be nice every once in a while.

the only other thing I can't say I'm convinced by ist he rather long pauses, and the two whole notes in the very middle. The pauses could be defendable, but the two whole notes really come as an abrupt stop to a steady sequence of sixteenth notes. If they had been more massive chords, maybe, rather than simply single notes, held for a whole note? with some sort of at least eighth note movement in the bass?

my last question/comment: why did you call this piece "sonati"?
