yes it is probably made with vst's and samples and the lot. you can probably do this with logic, but I don't know anything about it. I assume logic has midi and vst support in that case you could certainly make music like that

So VST IS Virtual instruments yes?

I would have to advise going with Propellerhead's Reason. It's pretty all inclusive. Just remember, as with any studio software, it can take a little while to learn.
