Score for a science fiction movie.

I listened to the first one. I definitely get the science fiction feel in the opening section, but then it gets kind of lost with the rather rhythmic part. Your ideas only seem to last for a short period of time before they turn into something else. Definitely explore with elongating some of your ideas. You're pretty good at using the arpeggios, but some of the parts repeat a little bit too much. Your melodies/phrases are kind of short, which is good in some cases, but it'd be nice to have a really long melody. I do hear the main theme reappearing a few times which is good theory. The middle section actually sounds very nice, but it seems a bit repetitious. This sounds a lot like Final Fantasy, which is good if you're going for that kind of feel.

Sorry if I don't offer as much praise as other people, I only give my own personal impression, and hopefully that will encourage you rather than discourage.
