Just a quick little theme and variations in the Baroque style.BTW, sorry the score is such a wreck. Still learning how to use the software.

It sounds good, but looking at the bass part, I'd like to point out that apart from the run i n the variation starting at m.31 , it has a lot of eight-notes in octaves. While there's nothing wrong contrapuntally, it's a pretty boring part. Otherwise, I liked the variations, they're nice and clean.

The theme is good but just as the above post, the bass really needs more excitement, it doesn't have to be like the violins but it need something. But I do like the theme.

I'll keep that in mind and maybe write an alternate version. My only fear is that by messing with the bass the balance of the piece will be off as almost all of the dialogue and interplay is between the two violins.
