December 2, 201015 yr The best methods I find is having friends that play instruments which will at least get you a reading. As far as getting it performed, you might have to do that on your own by setting up a recital or performance through another event. Other things: Entering competitions or answer calls for scores. Also enter music festivals that provide musicians (if you didnt do the first thing I mentioned and bring friends that play instruments) Finding new music ensembles, like Luna Nova or eighth black bird as some examples, that are requesting or accepting new music. You can go here to find such competitions and calls for scores http://www.composerssite.com/ as well as you can just google Call for Scores and see who is looking. Just a few things I can think of off the top of my head.
