I like trying to make music though, and have been trying off and on for a while now. deleted stuff.... Never mind, will wait until I can come up with a better question that can actually be answered. It's not the fact that people need help getting started -everyone has to start somewhere, it's that the people who need help aren't attempting to help themselves. Unless this is the first time the guy has ever used the internet, ever, and he has never heard of Google, it's not excusable. Not only this, but these sort of "concisely explain to me everything you know" type questions trivialize the amount of time and energy that goes into learning the craft.
